Okay, so I've been reading that when I get in one of these bad states (like I had this weekend) I should talk to a friend. But what are you supposed to do when your friends vanish? It's maddening. I mean, I'm not saying I expect everyone I know to be sitting at home and/or be willing to drop whatever they're doing at a moment's notice to help me, but a lot of times all I want is someone to talk to, you know?

Try writing, the English language is beautiful. Write a letter to someone, a piece of poetry and never ever ever forget good old journaling. If you are feeling somewhat adventurous why not use the platform of a short story to explore your problems and who knows maybe your character might discover a pearl of wisdom throughout their journey you yourself kept overlooking or hadn't viewed in the correct mindset

Here are some ideas . . .
(1) Start a blog (WordPress is the best I would say). (2) Join a FaceBook group (I have made some honest friends through FaceBook groups. Not Psychiatric, but still). (3) Text me. I know, I know...It sounds like a creeper but I always make the offer that I have unlimited texts and usually have my phone on me. Sometimes a few texts can help. It's just an offer I make people feeling they can't find a "friend" who understands. (4) Find some Twitter feeds relating to Depression/BiPolar/etc and as they post click and see who responds and engage them in conversation. Hopet these help. All the best, Matt S.

Thanks folks. I don't know if this site doesn't get along with my email or what, but I never got any notifications that there were any responses so I didn't see them until I checked.
