i have been working on a song couple days an was just wondering if its against the rules to share it here?
i know some forums dont like that self promotion stuff - not trying to promote anything but just thought maybe i could get some feedback... its like the 2nd or 3rd song i've tried to do in like a year due to all this depression... if its not ok then thats fine  its just strange music anyway and alot of yall probably wont like it - bassı stuff... this one featuring lil jon for example - no lyrics or anything.. edit: also maybe thought some of you may be interested in how i try to handle this illness in positive ways..? gotta have atleast 1 habbit that doesnt hurt

I would love to see it... Usually forums don't like promotions because they draw activity away from that forum or compete with it... I can't see that being the case here, but I'm not really sure if there are any rules of that nature here.

It's not my usual choice of music, but you clearly have talent more than just a 'hobby' level. I found it quite enjoyable, much better than most of the tripe manufactured for the Masses these days.

thanks... i know most people dont like it.. its not really real music...
i do everything by ear, i guess because of adhd its hard for me to sit down and actually learn the scales and blablabla... all thats boring... i just like making noise... but whatever i just try to take my mind off things with it when i feel well enough... i love music.... wish i was better at making real songs... much love

"Not real music". . . what the hey?!? EDM, or whatever you want to label it - in all its various forms and sub-genres - IS real music. Not in a Mozart sort of way, but still real music. I. Have. Spoken.
I was expecting some heavy bass lines, but what great outlet.

i do everything from inside my mind, i guess because i cant focus enough to sit down and learn how to read music... learn any scales... anything... so i just do it all by ear... but its something i really like so i can hyperfocus on it too...
its stimulating, somtimes i cant get the sounds right but i just try to say its something i can do to try to relax... its smthing ive always done, music i mean.. not the production stuff... i wish i could learn scales though, so i could keep everything in the right scale.. perfectly... i just share two more - its my favorite over all i made i think because its like a remix of a song i used to listen to a lot playing a video game "cars - gary numan " ? and just some silly thing i was working on... 1, gary numan cars remix (this one i dont have on youtube..) https://soundcloud.com/loadedsounds/end-trail 2, boom boom boom boom boom boom was a long time ago when i made it though so... oh and i really think this one is cool.. i mean i like them all but whatever https://soundcloud.com/loadedsounds/own-stuff but yeah i cant use my studio monitors right now because of living situation so i cant really hear the bass that good ... trying not to drown the whole beat out with bass ... these headphones dont pick it up well.. if it wasnt for this stuff, i can listen to and remember how strong i am... i dunno where i would be... edit: PS; i think soundcloud has my picture...

elavated I've always believed that the very best of any kind of art or music or talent comes when the artist stops trying to please the audience and instead is concerned only with making oneself happy with the creation.

Very much enjoyed the Cars remix. Funnily, that was the first vinyl 45 single I ever bought - I was an album buyer, all the Groups I was into produced complex Concept Albums.
I still have the single somewhere in the attic. Dave.

thanks so much
there is alot i could do to improve but i jus try to do my best and enjoy myself, is really for me in the end i guess but if i could some how refine it ... i used to do alot, but its hard now... my depression has gotten alot worse since 5 years ago... but yeah, its just to try to distract myself, just a game... make some noise hehe
