It is great that you are able to distinguish what your illness "tells" you from the truth. Sometimes that is incredibly difficult to do.

I don't like the flavor of the diet water so I only drink the 2% fat kind.
Fuzzy keep assuring yourself that all of those negative thoughts are lies. You are correct. Keep reminding yourself with positive thoughts that are true. I've known you on Psych Central for a very long time and I know you to be a valuable, loving, sensitive, empathetic, sharing, caring, person.

I agree entirely!!!! But if you don't mind if I "fill in some gaps" too...........  Not only are you NOT a "horrible useless" person...........you ARE an incredibly caring, astute, insightful, understanding, empathetic, supportive person............ And not only do you NOT deserve to be punished and shamed..........you DO deserve to be treated with kindness, respect, validation, caring................. Alison |
