Crying feels weak? And cutting does not?
Both things express that you can't bear your pain. You are not weak, the illness is strong. It could crunch anybody, everyone here knows it well But you should definitely allow yourself to cry first. Apart from being safer (which sounds a meaningless concept when one is in a depressive episode, I know), you are not weaker than a self-cutter. The best of luck |

I hope you let yourself cry! Don't cut...please as it is not the answer. It only makes you feel better for a little while and then the pain will come back. Go ahead and let yourself cry, cry with us and we will be there for you and we will not get mad or shut you out.
