hi all......... havent been here in awhille....had no internet but friend gave me her old pc so now im back...... things not much differnt for me, still stupid, things in my life have got better but still hate myself and keep thinking its all gonna go down the drain. but also still have not got help so i know its my own fault but the idea of asking for help still scares me alot. anyway just wanted to check in. sorry if i sound stupid i am on pain meds right now after a minor surgey the other day so i'm a little loopy ,can think ok but writing is hard, but wanted to check in cause ive missed this place. anyway ill be reading and tryin to catch up on whats happning....hello to new people and hope everyone is doin ok.......

It is *very* scary to ask for help, especially if one has been hurt before... So no, you are most decidedly not stupid. But sometmes, just taking the first step towards getting help can be exhilarating and somewhat less daunting to go the whole hog. Can you talk to your p-doc about getting help?

Hope you take care of yourself though.

I agree with Always it is very scary.......right down to procrastination rules. I don't ask either so can't offer any sage advice.
Hope your feeling better real soon.

thanks always....... the doc who prescribed me the pain meds is just the one who did the procedure. i dont have a pdoc or anything. i have the # of the mh clinic in town here but chicken out every time i try to call. my health insurance at work starts next month, am thinking maybe i can find a gp and start there. am thinking maybe it will be easier if i'm already going to the dr's than if i just have to pick up the phone. i will keep all posted.....

thanks bb, i am happy to be back here, i have missed the support and advice i always found here. and it helps me some just to be reminded that there are others out there who know how i feel..........
