I have been there many times in the past, & the now that I am living is the reason that I should not have died when I wanted to.

I didn't know what the future held for me.....it is something that we don't have the knowledge. If I had known that my life would have been what it is today, I would never have wanted it to end.

If you read some of my posts about my new life here in Kentucky & all the beauty I am living around & all the wonderful people that are now part of my life, it can help you understand what I am talking about.

I feel like I am living in heaven on earth. Sure, there are little annoying things that come up in life....it isn't perfect, but this is as close to perfect as anyone could get......& it isn't anything that I could have even have imagined a few years ago when I wanted my life to end.......or more like when I tried many times to end my life (almost successful several times).

It was strange because I was just thinking about this the other day.....when I stood on my deck, overlooking my woods.....feeling so blessed with everything that is in my life now.......I would have missed all this beauty & peacefulness in my life if it had gone the way I wanted it to a few years ago.

This is why we should not die when we want to.......we should die when it happens naturally.....when the time is right.........not when we THINK is the right time.

Step back & take a breath......I know people told me the same thing & at the time, I didn't want to listen & I wouldn't listen to what anyone had to say......but it really is the truth from first hand experience.

Please do listen....no matter how hard it is,

Because you need to learn from what ever is going on and become a stronger person......

because you are unique just like each and every beautiful snowflake. There is only one YOU ....... you have touched some people's lives in meaningful ways, in a way that ONLY you can do-- not anyone else.

I think of a life unfinished(when one decides to stop it themselves) like a movie that one stops in the middle of-- never knowing if the sea calmed, the storm drifted away, and missing all those dear moments that can lift ones inner being to a peaceful state.

I hope you are doing a bit better-

Because things will not always feel this badly.

Because until you have proof that would hold up in court of why you should die, you must continue to try and live.

Because no one knows what the future holds. What we have to do is hold out for the future.

Depression tells you lies, steals away all of your hope, makes it so you can't see anything but darkness. Do you know that if you are in the bottom of a deep well in the daytime, and look up, you can see the stars? Look up (((AS))) you will find the support you need to get through this.

Because depression has deceived you into thinking these things, and it's telling you lies about how giving in would be good and the only way out and that's NOT TRUE. Don't stop fighting... keep pushing through it.

Also because sometimes your posts make me smile (tho not this one).

And because you are unique and wonderful and will never get to live this life again, so you may as well give it all you have, even if parts of it are a uphill struggle. Just think what the view from the top will be like once you get through this.

And because if you fight your depression, one day you will win. I promise!

because you have an illness, do people who don't ,want to kill themselves? only last week i had several days of wanting to kill myself even the great people around me made no difference i just wanted to end my despair, reaching out as you are doing is what made the worst of my despair recede, i do know what it feels like to want to die,just hang in there and reach out

Thanks for reminding me - sometimes I need to hear / read something - anything - to put it all back into perspective.
