What are your dreams?

I had many dreams, most were stolen from me - like no cubs

My dream is..

Peace love and joy for the whole world

My dream is to meet some of the awesome people on here. There have been many people people that have shared similar experiences to mine. There have been others that have suffered with other things that I could not imagine. Yet all these amazing people have taken a brief moment out of their lives to try and show me some support. It is these people I would like to one day meet.
And Fuzzy you are among these select people.

Do you think if we did ever met up we would be more compassionate towards each other because we would all be aware that we had flaws & MIs or do you think in the end they would start to irritate us & interfere with friendships?

That's close to my story. I barely remember my dreams, possibly misremember them. They hide behind thick clouds. Whether those clouds are depression, the meds to treat depression or a combination of the two I do not know.

Also, age has brought suspicion. How many of my dreams were truly my own vs. visions planted in my mind to serve others' needs?

I regret that you too have had ... Certain "personalities" in your life, especially your early life, who used and abused you for their selfish needs

There was a time, when I was much younger that I had dreams and a goal to make something great in my life. I wanted a great job after I left working for my parents. I had ideas of what I wanted, but it didn't come to be. I have a job that I enjoy right now and very happy to have it. But it does not pay a lot and not a "power job". I ask myself, "how did that happen?".

And then I wanted to get married, but it never happened. I had been depressed for so many years because of it. As of now in my life, I have accepted that I will never get married and probably never have a companion. The prostate cancer surgery I had last year killed my desire for romance. The surgery can do that.

So I feel like my great dreams I had for a great time in my life had just died. I'm very content to what I have going for me and feel very thankful. I know of others that have it much worse than I do. But then I have fears that the bad life that others I know have could happen to me.

My dream (and/or hope) is that in the near future my life could be like when I was younger. Though there were some trials during that time, too. Listening to the music I like from the past reminds me of the good times I had. It would be so great if I don't have to deal with having to take some medications and check ups like I am doing now (related to the following up from the prostate cancer). There are times when I feel like it's going to be worse in the future or more issues going on.

My ultimate dream is for eternity. To be in a place where there will be no more pains, sorrows, and suffering. Why does it seem like I would have to wait so long for that day? And why would have to suffer a whole lot until that day? Someday I'll be going home, even though I have no idea what that "home" is going to be like.

Honestly, if I could help one person, just one I would be good. I'd know that at the very least, I was able to guide someone out of darkness and show them light. That's all I really want to do for someone, because I know how much it can change a person's life.

Meeting all of you would be great. I've never felt so comfortable with talking about the stuff I have than to all of you. You're all kind and supportive. You guys have helped me when no one in my own life seemed to be able to.

I would certainly hope that we would be more compassionate. I guess that is a recent little dream I have, that I'll met some understanding people and hopefully make a friend or two. I've been struggling with yearning for friendship & companionship for a while now.
