watching someone die today on my soap opera.

big, big, mistake- and I should have spotted the clues

"this episode contains emotional sceens"

and " holly isn't breathing"

why do i do this to myself.... why

:: Dealing with watching someone die in a show as dramatic as a soap opera is a sure way to tug at our heart strings. I imagine it's even worse when mentally ill, especially if death itself is a trigger. (On a side note, this is why I stopped watching Supernatural. Too many characters kept dying. Doesn't matter if they bring them back, it was still too much of a strain on my emotions lmao.)

I don't always know what will effect me and I am caught off guard sometimes. I can relate to not getting away, or turning it off soon enough.

I, too, made the mistake of watching someone die on a video today. Foolish mistake that I hope I won't make again, because it zapped my energy and left me feeling depressed and worn out.
