Hello lalpathlabs: I'm sorry but I don't think I know the answer to your question. I presume you know about antidepressant medications & mental health therapy. These are the mainstream ways in which individuals treat depression. There is another member, here on PC, whose username is "Vital". I don't think he's active at this point in time. However, some time ago, he posted a Thread with regard to a technique called: "Snap Club". Perhaps this would be something that would be of interest:
http://forums.psychcentral.com/depre...n-escaped.html I see this is your first post here on PC. So... welcome to PsychCentral… from the Skeezyks! I hope you find the time you spend here to be of benefit. PsychCentral is a great place to get information as well as support for mental health issues. There are many knowledgeable & caring members here. The more you post, & reply to other members’ posts, the more a part of the community you will become. Plus there are social groups you can join & chat rooms where you’ll be able to connect with other PC members in real time (once your first 5 posts have been reviewed & approved.) Lots of great stuff! So please keep posting! |

Hi welcome to PC.
Sorry I didn't come across your post before. I think the ways to deal with depression are almost as many and varied as the people who live with it. I hope that reading posts here will help you find strategies which help you. If you can post any specific thoughts or concerns, people here will try to support you. People here have helped me through some dark times and I hope you get as much encouragement from this community as I have. We're here for each other. __________________ We're people first, anything else is secondary. |
