MickeyCheeky--Once again, your response is just so sweet. You always think of others feelings no matter how depressed you are!

I was thinking. I once told you how impressed I was with how well you write on this forum since Italian is your 1st language. Have you ever thought about studying English in college? There are so many tourism related activities in Italy. If you were my tour guide, I would fall in love with your sweetness, good manners, and humility!

Oh, it would give you an excuse for spending to much time on PC. You would just be coming here to improve your language skills--no time wasted after all!

Yes, you're not the first person to suggest me that.. I don't know :/ I'm good at English, I suppose, but I don't know if it's exactly what I want to do in my life, as a job..

Thank you for your super-kind words Bless the day I met you

That is actually a great suggestion and MC your English is so good you could go anywhere in the world to study English.

I wish I could just reach through the screen and hug you and hug you. You WILL be ok and I know at your young age its tough to see past the end of the week but trust me when I say school years a but a blink of the eye and the rest of your life will be so much more. I can pretty much guarantee you that everyone her on PC has felt as isolated and alone as you when a teenager - we were all awkward and a bit lost and perhaps didn't fit in. But thats ok because the popular kids that I went to school with all became bank managers, tellers, insurance salesmen or work the checkout at the supermarket. All the nerds and the misfits went on to unbelievable lives music, art, travel, advertising, television, make up artist, developing their own businesses. I'm not making that up. The fact that you are caring and have the ability to empathise sets you apart from most people today.

Please don't ever feel bad about yourself - one day you will look back and realise how all those people at school really messed up for not making the effort to know you.

Meanwhile we know and care about you very much.

I too hated school I had few friends and my days there were extra depressing it seemed like no one liked me. It's amazing how that changes once you get to college! Not to sound silly and hoo-rah but it really does get better. There you will find people who like you because they are more broad minded then the petty people in high school.

Also I'm sure you have many good qualities that you can't think of now cause of your illness. And when I started college I didn't think I knew what I wanted to do or anything but found out that is the same as most people.

Just some thoughts, hope they are helpful and not just rambling. Feel free to PM me and or be on my friends list.

I understand what you're saying Mickey. I'm 42 and have been fighting the same kind of thing for years. I still have days where I sit around and do nothing, feeling outcast, alone, and unwanted. I can only say that if you refuse to just quit, and do the best you can each day, it will get easier as time goes by.

I live by an old adage Mickey....."Anything worthwhile takes time." Being close to being as old as dirt, lol, I can atest that things do take time. It's taken me the last 25 years to boost my self-worth by a little bit. Keep fighting, you'll get there.
