I feel like I fail at everything I do.. everyone is capable of doing something, a special talent, or they're just better at something in particular. I don't have any of that, I'm just useless at everything. I'm not good enough. Maybe I'm not worth it..

Failing means you at least had the guts to try.

Not trying is worse than failing because it means you're not even living, just existing.

Not everyone has a special talent or skill, that's a blatant lie the world tells people so they can feel like special snowflakes.

Everyone I know who has some kind of talent / skill, worked their butts off to be good at whatever it is, it didn't appear by magic. So maybe you just have to find the thing that's worth working at relentlessly, or maybe you have to understand that you are special and worthy as you are.

You are not worthless, that's a depressive lie right there, and if u don't mind, I'm saluting it with my middle finger.

You are precious, worthy and deserving, just as you are.

You seem extremely capable in this regard--you are just so caring and understanding. When people offer you suggestions, you accept all of the feedback extremely graciously. Despite being depressed, you are always finding ways to cheer people up. You get an A+ in the kindness department. I have always thought that when you find someone special, she will be an extremely lucky person.

Actually, empathy works as a talent and it is one very needed to perform in certain areas. Have you had vocational orientation to explore future paths of careers?

You are always one of the first ones there to give advice and comfort yourself. You have purpose!

I'v been working hard on motivating myself to create digital music, but I just can't. I have learned 3 instruments throughout my life, I have a musical ear, but I can't put focus on building the skills...
In my eyes as I read of what is becoming of our reality, there are more important things than being talented. The fact that you're here for people to comfort them and empathize speaks for it's own.

I had the same feelings years ago, all you can do is to let yourself to try somethings new until you find something you really love and something you're talented at and you just try for it
surround yourself with people with the same interests and people who believe in you, failure is just a new beginning and a new chance for others doors you open
Don't let those negative thoughts let you down and use it against failure
And in case you didn't find something you're good at, you just don't have to, living happily with yourself and enjoying life is the real purpose
I needed to say those words for me too, so thank you <3

You don't need to have a special talent to be a special person. It's all the little things that you are taken together that make you special.
Not being the best isn't the same as being a failure. I think you are comparing yourself to much with other people.
Certainly people who know you recognize many qualities in you. Maybe you are not looking to the right places.

Hi you are not the only one with no visible talent that you can see. I always say I am uniquely untalented! The difference is I don't care. As long as you are you then people will love you for that.

I fell across a passion by chance many years ago - darts. I love and still do love the game. As a consequence I played a lot and learnt how to play it properly. I have won loads of trophies. I am not that good as my talent is very small but I have learnt a lot from applying myself to it.

Most of it is grit, determination and passion. Everyone is capable of that. I hope you fall across a passion in time. x

You're a very kind person and you listen well. Maybe you can find something in that.

You don't fail at everything. If you did you would be dead because you would fail at breathing. As long as you're alive you're not a failure.

I agree, you're very kind and you listen well - and you've survived in this often cruel world. I think you'd make a good therapist or counsellor . Also whoever you marry eventually will be lucky as you're kind and intelligent - not a failure

(Ps in my experience some of the people who think they are a "success" and "superior" to others are some of the nastiest people around... and not a "success" at all (not about anyone on pc)
