Pretty much everyone at the moment. People are so self obsessed it's sickening. I hate being alive in this period in time.

You should read my posts; I feel the same way. I often wonder why I bother anymore.

I feel the same way sometimes in regards to the majority of people but there are 'diamonds in the rough' to be found.

I like people somehow, and I used to discover something beautiful and inspiring in everyone and that used to be nice. But in the same time I'm afraid of them and I can also sense all the negativity and fears of people around me and feel all that pain.
And lately what bothers me is that I feel alone and I can't relate to people and that I feel like being sensitive is not welcome in this world.

When someone is depressed, it can seem like the world is a very dislikeable place, filled with rotten people.

For the majority of my life I would agree. It does appear to be the case that people will screw you over at any opportunity. Logically though, I have to admit that when I was on the only drug that worked for me (Venlafaxine) I loved everyone, even strangers. Couldn't stop hugging and kissing them.
It just seems an alien concept right now. I have so much hatred I am wary of leaving the home.

I think people in general are more egotistical now. It happens from the north to the south, from the west to the east. And it is about culture and individualistic cultural domination. While some values of an individualistic culture such as freedom, autonomy, and self-realization are desirable, other good values are absent and this absence leaves people very alone and unprotected in difficult times.

Freedom means more is unleashed - both good and bad... but mostly bad, because freedom is a selfish desire.
Because of the increasing liberty, people are less disciplined and only those of rough skin and hostility can survive better. It's a disastrous shame.
