I have uppers to give me energy but they make me anxious. I have antidepressants but they make me tired. I hate going to work or any social event even though everyone is nice to me. I'm always anxious or tired. When I have ambien I even take it in the morning to feel relaxed but that's terrible and makes me way worse. Today I'm contemplating grabbing some robbotussin cough gels to pick me up for work, but I know they are dirty poison for my brain and body. What can I take or do....I'm sick of poisoning myself with chemicals that aren't even working.

Eat leafy greens. Arugula, spinach, kale, mesclun blends-I feel so much better after eating these for a few days in a row. It's not an instant fix, but long term, so much better than pills. Cheaper too if you grow them in a window instead of buying from the grocery store.
Thanks for this!

Good advice, I'm already into heathy eating though.

There are medications out there that could really help you. Can you schedule an appointment with your pdoc?

Hrmm...have you tried toxin elimination in other areas of your life? Chemical cleaners, laundry detergents, body detergents & shampoos, etc? The more of those I stay away from the better I feel too. My pdoc calls it depression, but the the fatigue I've been fighting has nothing to do with that unless I've been depressed from birth. I wake up exhausted, always have. But the more natural my environment gets, the better quality sleep I get and it's finally starting to fall away. As far as meds go, I've found Zanaflex helpful too. My neurologist prescribed it for migraines and I wake up bright eyed and bushy tailed at 5am. Now if I could just replicate that without the pills.

At this stage of the game it's more a question of what haven't I tried. I take Wellbutrin which is activating along with Prozac and Ritalin for energy. I also take Xanax and Klonopin for an anxiety disorder. I've self medicated in the past as you are doing so I get that. Good luck with your pdoc.
