I hate to post this.

I wish I could start my life over ... at least from age 18

I was old enough to walk out then..

Of course I can't, that's "madness"

Why was I so "immature" (I know some of the reasons .. )

I feel like ......

I'm sitting here wondering whether to press "send"

I wish I was gone.

Maybe I should be gone.

I've felt like this for too long

I wish I had inspiring words, maybe then I would be "worth" something

Even if I ever could be a therapist, would I help people? I would hate to hurt even one person ... I'm only adding this because of something a friend suggested ... about me becoming a therapist.

Even if I was "smart" enough, could I be "stable" enough

I doubt it

So I'm "worthless"

I am sorry to see you going through a rough time Fuzzy. I see a lot of your posts revolve around the past and negative past experiences - would you be able to get a therapist to work through this with so that you are able to focus more on the present/future?

Remember fuzzy you once wrote that we are all warriors and that our worth is not dependent on our achievement. So you can't be worthless.

That's a logical thought, thanks Desiree

I wish my emotions would conform and obey my logical brain

Yes, the world is full of pain and suffering.
Each person carries their own pain.
Some are able to carry more before collapsing. Others less.
Perhaps someone else could carry your pain more easily,
but that doesn't help you.

Fuzzy some ofvthe best therapists have had to excercise there own demons, in training they have to do a minimum year in therapy ,so they understand both being a client & vulnerable and also understand how to do "self care" keeping themselves stable to do the job ,i think you would be one of those good ones in a sea of check cashiers just doin it for the check.

Fuzzy, have you ever heard of Byron Katie?

She's kind of an emotional guru. She sort of like... enlightened. So it's hard to understand her sometimes when she goes off on a tangent about stuff I can't comprehend yet.

But she's all over youtube walking people through her method. She has this worksheet where you write down your feelings about a past situation. And the questions on the worksheet just kind of dissolve the pain you have over it by challenging your judgments.

She's incredible. It sounds like you haven't gotten much out of therapy. I didn't either. But Byron Katie and her method, which she calls "the work" like blew me over with relief.

Maybe check her out.
