Can I, or any of the wonderful supportive members here control whether someone else hurts themselves? I think not.

We can ONLY control ourselves. Sometimes not even that. MI is a beast.

You’re absolutely right. It’s really hard though to stand by so to speak and see someone else suffering.

Do you think it’s possible somewhere deep inside they have fear of whatever so they try to control people and situations to assuage that fear? Just a thought.
