And all the bad thoughts won't go away. I put this here rather than in drugs cause I feel so whiny (not that people who post here are "whiny"). But I thought I was doing a healthy thing tapering off the Paxil as it didn't seem to be working well. And I'd read a horror story about long term side effects No sleep again But now I feel so much worse, especially at night. Even with sleeping pills I only get three hours sleep at best..
grrrrrrrrr at me.

I'm just getting to where I can sleep without the meds, after about a month, but it's all broken up too. It will take some time.

fuzzy, help me to understand how your situation has improved as a result of your med's? I honestly would like to know...perhaps this is a good time to take stock of where you are in your treatment plan and what objectives you are working twoard.

The meds "numbed" me. I became weary of fighting the system over here IRL. So my treatment plan is between me and T only No sleep again

I'm a total zombie today. Slept 3-4 hours last night. Most nights. Stayed home from work today-- too sad and too tired. Still couldn't fall asleep. Blah. Have to get to school soon. No sleep again Fuzzy No sleep again

I understand the sleep thing all to well.........The entire 3 weeks that I was hospitalized they tried different dosages of trazadone to get me to sleep along with klonipin, flexeril, Remeron and oxycontin. Usually by 3am the nurses were getting me some ice cream and letting me turn the tv on. They were very good to me. Was out for about 10 days and went back in for 7 more days.
My sleep cocktail now consists of 200mg Seroquel, 2mg Klonipin, 10mg Flexeril, 20mg Oxycontin and 30mg Remeron. On a really good night I will get about 5 hours of broken up sleep which is a big improvement for me but my Pdoc doesn't agree. Also seem to have very vivid dreams and nightmares since starting the Seroquel.

Anyway I'm rambling, sorry. Hope you get some good sleep soon.

Maybe talk to the health care ppl and tell them about the lack of sleep? They could suggest different meds or something?

I remember what it was like when I had insomnia due to the depression ... lying awake in bed most of the night, to get a couple of hours sleep and then have to get up at 6am... it wasn't good. I hope you can get it sorted out soon ((((((((( Fuzzy ))))))))))

How's it going, Fuzzzz? Get any sleep yet? I slept a whopping 6 1/2 hrs straight through last night, it was very exciting. I guess I was just so ovetired that I was finally able to sleep through the night without waking up four million times.
