I can sense that I’m crashing. I don’t feel it exactly but I look around me and know it’s true. The major clues being the mess in my bedroom, and my lack of showering.

But, I don’t really know what to do about it. I’m not bad enough to cause an issue, I just know where this is heading.

The thing is, I’m sort of willing myself to get as bad as possible

Possible trigger:

At the same time I know I need to stay here. It’s hard.

Keep looking for help before you take the stash of pills

I've had two stashes of pills in the past. I used them both. If you get rid of them... you can't use them. You said you know you need to stay here. Please turn them over to someone, or whatever you need to do to get rid of them.

The “right” advice is to look for help and hand the stash in...

I know I should get rid of the stash, but I don’t know if I can. The thing is, for the last however many years I have stashed meds. The minute I lose a stash I start up a new one. So I know getting rid of my stash isn’t really going to change anything. I will just start a new one.

I will try and get help though. My girlfriend is being supportive, and I’m trying to be open. It’s so hard to change the way I am, how I act, how I react. But I’m trying. I don’t know if it will be enough, generally when I start spiralling I’m never able to stop it. But I’m trying.

In your bedroom, see if you can organize/file/dispose of just one thing. Maybe pick one thing off of the floor and put it where it belongs?

After you do that one thing, maybe you can try a second thing.

With regard to your shower: if it is too much to shower right now, try something smaller than that. Maybe simply wash your hands?

Identify small steps and focus on one small step at a time.

You can do it whisperingskye!

I actually managed to sort my room out today, my friend came round and I had to make it presentable for her. At least that is one thing done.
