Apparently depressive people tend to shut the world out, but I don't do that, I let the world in. Does this mean my body is fully aware of my depression and tries to help it... or perhaps I'm not depressed at all. I have been to my doctor on the lines of depression, which they believe I could have minor depression.
Maybe it's the solitude from when I was younger that has made me think this, and my brain is creating depression or attention seeking to get people to be nice and talk to me.
Please feel free to email me directly about this, as I'm 16 and in that stage of life where you don't fully understand the world or what is going on around you.

Do you have symptoms of depression?

When you desire attention, how do you seek it?

Thank you for the welcome. I tend to just ask around for anybody to lend me some time, to talk and that, but I never know what to talk about . My doctor believes I do have the symptoms of it, getting very moody, over thinking, and other stuff gathered in, pushing people away. It is hard to properly describex how I do it, I guess I just make it obviously that I'm lonely and hope that someone will come talk to me, as I don't like forcing people to do things for me.

What you describe seem pretty normal. I agree that you may have minor depression; are you seeking therapy or anything similar?
Thanks for this!

My doctor has suggested councilling, but I have no idea how to get into it, or where to go for it, that is one reason why I'm going back soon
