As I can’t take antidepressants I have to find other ways to “cope” with my depression and anxiety, CPTSD etc..

Today papa bear and I were looking at clothes in a magazine - none of them were “special” (and were “bottom of the range” cost wise) - but we might buy one of them, I could scrub the floor and clean all the windows in our cave.. when wearing them (like Cinderella ) (btw I very rarely buy any clothes at all)

But I still prefer the “natural” look I usually wear

I know (((((( bear ))))))) I was told I’m “always alone”

Thanks for that to that “professional”

Now I feel even more alone

Time to take a “break” from being a human being. I don’t like this world

“How dare I express myself, anything at all”

I’m ****ed

Fuzzy if you can please tell me about these other ways of coping. My psych doc is reluctant to prescribe me an anti-depressant as I have bipolar.

Well.. to start with I’m not a fan of the term “coping”

Personally I feel it’s used too often (irl) and has been mis used

I love to buy clothes and cosmetics but I don't have the money right now. Maybe when I start working again

Nobody irl has recommended it to me either. Although the doctors know I’m allergic to the meds, the generic “solution” for almost everyone (apparently )

Try all natural Maca root to relieve depression. Has worked better than any anti-depressant i have taken in 30 years. My energy level and mood are way up on it. Just adjust dose accordingly too manic anxietal adjust downwards. Not enough lifting of the sadness try a higher dose. Start with a tsp in your favorite liquid. If there is a Trader Joes nearby they have it there for only $5 that will last 2 or 3 months good luck Pray you feel improved. I am off all anti-depressants now due to Maca. And I had deep abiding exhausting depression with intense suicidal thoughts for upwards of 20 years. No more. Lithium helped stop the suicidal thoughts for me.
Thanks for this!

Fuzzy have you tried Maca Root. All Natural used in the Andes for 2000 years especially geared toward menopausal women and libido issues. Really works for me. If you are open to it I can highly suggest it. I no longer take Anti-depressants due to it after 25 years on them. My depression presented itself as exhaustion sleeping 12 to 14 hours a day to escape my mind. No more sleep six seven hours a day and am productive again getting chores done. Living is not longer an exercise in pain and anguish for me. Thanks for helping us all out with your wisdom.

I haven’t tried this (I’m in the uk) I seem to be allergic even to many “natural” things, eg St Johns Wort (sp) I’ll look into it though Thanks for the suggestion

Hey you're not alone! I am no longer able to take my antidepressant or anxiety med. I find making it my mission to change my train of thoughts and agreements in life helped me greatly. Also alot of sunshine and waking up to the morning opening all my windows and curtains and practicing yoga for a half hour. I'm not a huge fan of working out but changing my outlook on it has significantly increased my motivation and I can 100% feel a sense of contentment and euphoria after
