And then I lose track of reality and space. I forget my plans for the future... I said see you next Monday to a coworker when I am on vacation next week, I didn't question it.
Another coworker asked me once when the strike was going to happen, I said next week, it was in the following days... The same happened in the following week when she asked me about a congress. I was going to the congress and I was going to take part in the strike. This confusion is so strange in my mind. |

I feel depression and anxiety can alter your perception of time. You can lose a sense of what day on the calendar. I wonder if you have confusion with time during the day or if it limited to days and weeks into the future. I sometimes briefly forget what day of the week and what month it is, but I have a good sense of what time it is during the day. I know when I need to go to work, eat, and sleep...but have to think harder to tell you that today is May 26 and Saturday and that June begins next week.
