I take 2 months seropram at 40mg (I started it 5 months ago at 10mg). I do not feel better and I will ask my doctor to change it. I heard about a dna test that shows if the gene resists specific drugs. But it costs very much. Opinions;

Hi. Yes, tell your doctor you don't feel any better. Often it's a case of trial and error with meds, unfortunately. As for the DNA test, well, it sounds a bit iffy to me. Mind you I don't actually know anything about it. But, yes, talk to your doctor about your meds.

Yes, it's iffy. Dunno anything about it.
Anyway, about the meds, 2 months seropram at 40mg (I started it 5 months ago at 10mg) is long you think, right? |

In my personal opinion, yes, 5 months is long enough to know if a medication is helping you or not. And 40 mg, which I think is the highest dosage for seropram, for past two months - yes, I would think that if it was going to take effect it should have done so by now. Surely.
