I've been so triggered over the past few days...I have tried to just ride it out, but every time I think it's about to pass, something brings it back. All this stuff that caused me to sink into depression is flooding back...I feel like I'm trying to hold back the ocean with a tissue.

I wish I knew what to do.

What to do:

Keep riding it out... remember that there is hope but that depression keeps hope hidden from view behind a cloud of darkness.

Stay in contact with us... we can help or at least let you know you are loved and maybe help shine a flashlight toward the shore.

I sure do appreciate your help...and I'm gonna keep riding it out, because what other choice do I have. I just wish everything didn't hurt so much.

Thanks, Peanut. I've been digging up some old stuff lately, and it has left me pretty raw. So all kinds of things are getting to me. It's all too new for me to really talk about yet, but maybe soon.

Thanks, wisewoman. I don't think this is a problem with my meds. As I said, I'm dealing with some new stuff, well old stuff, but never before dealt with stuff. And maybe reaching back to find that stuff is making everything come rushing back, even if I don't want it to.

I am so sorry. Sometimes when you open those doors and the past comes rushing in, it overwhelms you. I firmly believe that you are a swimmer and will rise above this.

It is hard, but at least you are dealing with the issues. This lessens the power it has over you in the future. I also wish I could give back to you some of what you have given me in the past year.

Please realize that you are very much cared about, by everyone, including myself. And don't forget to take time for yourself, because you deserve it.
