I lost my intelligence, I am working to regain it, and will emerge as the Scientist Supreme of this world.

Mickey, do you know why I am so cheerful these days? I found an idol months after he died... And even though I too am "metaphorically" caged, here's what that inspires me most...
Doctor Strange

One of the reasons I'd rather pursue my own interests rather than die to do something I cannot. Medicine is okay, it can go fine without me. On the other hand, I cannot go fine without my own interests.

Thank you so much. It means a lot to me.

Misplaced, yes, it's been clouded by my illnesses. But I am working hard to be be an ideal scientist in the future.

I actually feel the same. Chances are I've never possessed a degree of intelligence comparable to yours, but I felt comfortable with was I able to achieve. Now I'm just a shadow. Best of luck to you.

((((( TheLonelyChemist ))))). I agree. It’s just misplaced or overshadowed by your illness. You’ll prevail and be better then ever.

Don't be so hard on yourself. It's a bit farfetched to think I am a real life Dr.House! I am just like you! Don't you have 99.9% same genetic material as me? Everything can be achieved with hardwork and dedication and passion and goodwill.

One example is, "I want to be a physicist so I will be respected by people and so I'll get more salary than others!" I wouldn't recommend doing that, obviously. Cause you're loving only the concept of being a physicist as compared to the real deal, which is a lot of science and intellectually challenging hard work. Money and respect are nice, but they'll follow if you love physics itself.

And don't be sad over qualities you have no control over, work hard and try to be successful in life. That's all that matters.

Thank you, best wishes from me as well.

Isn't it the purpose of life, to help others?

You hit the nail on the head. That's my problem. I love abstract ideas, fantasies, not things. And it drives me nuts. Sometimes I think that there are things waiting for me somewhere, that I need to put in the necessarily hard work and then I'll find those things, but I just can't move forward. Maybe I don't really love anything. As a result, I stay here. Who knows.

That is my philosophy. I also believe in being kind to others because it could change their whole day or their whole life. You could be the last person they encounter before they make a bad decision. You could save a life and never know it. JMHO. You also need to take excellent care of yourself though so you can help others.

I think that's procrastination and daydreaming combined. I also suffer from the latter, however, there's hope. Change lifestyle, eat healthy, get in therapy, take your meds and work hard. That's all that can be and should be done.

Dr.Hawking saved my life by simply existing the way he was. He is literally the only person in existence who inspires me and gives me a ray of hope.

Yes I do take care of myself, although not on the good extreme end. I am simply a person trying to make the scientific method well-known and well-applied.

I do believe you're right, once again. Right now, I'm working on my diet and I've just been prescribed new medication, so there's that. As for lifestyle changes, yeah, I really need to make some, mainly to fight my apathy. I'd like to find something to work hard for, something that would somehow make that work seem like a pleasure. It could be a gradual process. Maybe one does all that you've mentioned and then comes the rest. That would be really nice.

That's subjective of what comes first. And that's way too complicated to put here, however.

I do wish best of luck to you!
