I slept well last night. I think that made a huge difference in how I feel today. I took care of myself and the cats this morning. I unloaded and loaded the dishwasher. Unpacked a box. Put groceries away. Later I will clean litter boxes then rest. Hope everyone is having a good day!

Plans for Tuesday:

- 08:00 Up
- 08:30 - 09:30 Breakfast
- Walk for 20 to 30 minutes
- Grocery
- Lunch
- Unload dishwasher
- Dusting and de-clutter ...
- Go through my accounts for this month

Best wishes and hopes for each one of you!

I cleaned litter boxes, cleaned off my kitchen counter, opened a package and cleaned up my kitchen table. Later today I will clean more litter boxes. I also hope to tidy up in the bathroom. Hope everyone has a good day!

I have been very tired today and have tried to accept that there are days when one is not able to do anything! I overslept and that's it ... I went through my accounts, cooked and had healthy meals, loaded dishwasher after every meal. So at least something.

For Wednesday I don't want to make other plans than these: Try to get up at 08:00 am, breakfast, shower, a short walk and a very necessary visit to the grocery shop.

May you all be as well as possible with what ever problem you have to face!

This morning I took care of the cats and cleaned litter boxes. Later today I plan to get a shower and take out the trash. I also have meds to pick up, so a semi busy day. Hope to relax soon. I'm not motivated to do much today. I'm feeling a little sad and I have some back pain. Will try Tylenol and CBD Oil. Oh yea, and a muscle relaxer. Hope everyone is doing well. (((Hugs))) to all!

Got my shower and took out the trash. Fixed the bird feeder and cleaned a litter box. Need to pick up my meds next. And then I'm done for the day. Tomorrow I have a doctor's appointment.

I just read 'dusting & de-clutter'.....oh how I envy you!!! Truly wish I was only that behind......

I really hoped I was going to feel motivated reading this thread...... instead everything is so far gone I feel overwhelmed by the pall of death hanging over me. I have no words....

I woke up before 07:00, but have been low in energy. I have watched my meals, taken my shower and I have de-cluttered a table, but have not gone for a walk or to the grocery-shop (I have had enough food).

I have decided that I need some encouragement: Tomorrow I will "play" tourist in my own city and I will dine out!

Best wishes and hopes for each one of you!

I am sorry to hear that you feel so overwhelmed and have thoughts about death. Most of us have been there. If you will write here you are among people who understand.

Here is a link if you feel suicidal:
Suicide: Read This First

You are where you are. If the only thing you can do is to walk 8 steps on the floor, set your goal for 9 steps tomorrow. Use babysteps, babysteps and more babysteps ...

What I am saying is that if it can help you to put forward a tiny little goal and try to work for it, nobody here will laugh of you. Instead we will clap hands for every little step you are able to do and we are here when you backslide as well.

Do you have a therapist? Have you tried medication?

Hope to see you here with your babystep-goals, one at the time. Remember we have all been there. That means that you can catch up on us one day. If it was possible for us, so it can be for you. Nobody promised us a quick relief and nobody will do that for you either. The only thing you need to know is that one foot in front of the other slowly, slowly take you into a life that you will probably like.

Warm wishes!

Not to sound harsh or cold, but certain subjects are quite triggering and need to be marked as so if they are going to be mentioned. Please, out of respect for those that are sensitive to that. Thanks.

Very depressed today. Only made it to therapy which made it worse. Tomorrow I will: pick up my medicine, float in the pool, clean my den and go through the mail.

Warm wishes to all.

Sorry to hear about that! To start with a new therapist can often be burdensome in itself because the therapist has to make a lot of questions to understand how he/she can help.

Other times to feel worse has to do with that the therapist did step on the right toe, and we need to use time to recognize that the problem the therapist pointed at is a very important topic to us.

Whatever it is, I wish you all the best, Jennifer! Relax in the pool!

Sorry, but I do not understand what has happened to me. I don't feel depressed, rather some form of indifference ("a give in"-state). I am just sitting here as if nothing matters. (I have to find a way to overcome this, but for the moment I cannot see what to do about it).

My therapist sent me an SMS about that I can take contact if necessary now in the summer time. I am glad for that, but my problem now is how to get out of this "nothing matters"-state so I don't have to lay straight out at my hotel (I am going on vacation on a few weeks). The vacation was not free and by a mistake I ordered a not refundable hotel.

I am thinking out loud to myself: "If the problem is some sort of indifference, is there something you can do to prepare for your vacation? - Can you not move or do something because of this indifference? - Indifference is a feeling. I don't have to let it dominate me. I can prepare for the vacation even f I feel this or that way"

I will write down on a paper for the table where I can see it: "I am able to fight this".

I will try to go to a restaurant and have my dinner today, but the "tourist in own town" has to wait to another day.

I wish all of you well, either if you accomplish nothing, little or much!

I am glad we have this thread. To share helps in the right direction.

The note is at the table!

(When I wrote it I recognized what this feeling of indifference is: Anger turned inwards. I am angry because I have tried and tried and tried and not succeeded) (There was a person who passed me some days ago as like he thought I was some sort of garbage).

Now when the feeling is recognized I think I can go to the restaurant and enjoy my dinner!

Sorry for ranting, but it really helped me to start to find a way out of it!

Be well all!

I’m glad you were able to work through it. What you described is hard to overcome. I hope you enjoy your dinner at the restaurant. I’m glad we have this thread as well.

Thank you so much, Jennifer! It happened in church last Sunday; the man with that look. I think that it is difficult when one becomes angry in a church. I mean we are supposed to love our neighbor as ourselves ...

The dinner was not the best I have tasted, but it took me out of the house. I have been inside since Sunday, so I am grateful for that. I have struggled for some time, now, I mean before last Sunday, as if I am balancing a tight line. I am vulnerable when something extra happens. I have more than enough to try to not fall into depression.

I write my plans for Friday here: I will try to get up at 07:00, have my breakfast and take a small walk outside. After that I hope to look at some curtains and, visit the grocery-shop and hopefully get into town-center. I need to buy some maps for hiking.

Thanks again!

Tomorrow we are rehoming my daughter’s dog who I am attached to. She is away at college (home for the summer) and made the decision to rehome him through a reputable adoption center. I think after I accomplish this difficult task, I will keep myself busy by running errands and going to a movie or out to eat or maybe float for awhile.

Warm wishes to all.

My day has been OK. I did go for a walk! (Am only trying to be kind to myself with that emoticon). I bought a curtain, went to a café and went to the library. There they had some small maps. May be I need bigger ones, but that has to wait.

Tomorrow I hope to get up early, have my breakfast and then go to a cash dispenser and so buy something I saw today. It's a bit heavy, so I have to get it home before I can go out again to visit the grocery shop. No further plans for the day other then to fill the dish-washer and the washing machine. I want to take it easy for the rest of the day, not try to use to much energy!

A good weekend to all!

(((Hugs))) Rehoming a cherished pet is always difficult. I hope they find him a wonderful new home and you and your daughter have peace of mind. Enjoy the movie and relaxing in the pool.
