Have other people tried physical exercise to help with their depression? I am not always successful in making it a daily habit. Anyone else?

I would like to try a poll...

Yes I find exercise helpful for my depression.
No I did not find exercise helpful for my depression.
I have not tried exercise and do not wish to.
I am interested in trying exercise to see if it helps my depression.
Thanks for this!

Working out does help. It's not a cure for me by any means, but it helps with the negative thoughts.

Running absolutely helps my depression (and my anxiety). Unfortunately, I'm recovering from a running injury, so... no running and my depression is hitting me hard. Exercise, and especially running, is a main foundation of my treatment plan.

It doesn't work for everyone, but it definitely works for me.

It always helps me. I would say with the bike riding and excessive walking helps me the most. Working out helps me, too, but there are times that it can be stressful doing it.
