I find that taking time to honor great people produces some amazing effects...it makes me feel better about myself and has a positive ripple effect whereby people around me begin to honor others and so...

Who would you like to honor, PC folks?

It could be a great boss, a loving friend, a kind neighbor, a community leader. Could be someone you have never met but you would like to honor their contribution to goodness in the world. You are also welcome to honor yourself! Perhaps you made it through a tough time...or that tough time is happening now and you want to honor your strength and courage. You could honor someone from your past or present. Maybe you'd like to honor someone great in your future whom you haven't met yet...or your future self.
You could honor someone living or someone who has already returned to the stars.

I would like to honor the pediatric psychiatrist who saved my life when I was very young and deeply depressed. She was gentle, insightful, and safe. She helped me to break my cycle of self-loathing and taught me how to love myself. She helped me to find hope for my future...what a precious gift!

May her life be filled with peace, love, and joy. Thank you Dr. M. I don't believe I'd be here today without your presence in my life back then. I am forever grateful to you.

I would like to honor Robin Williams. He brought vibrant color, energy, joy, and love to so many. I have often watched his stand-up on depressed days.

I would like to honor my significant other for being such a wonderful partner. He is generous, loving, and hard-working. When he's around, there is a bright spark of energy which is absent without him.

I love her! Did you see 'The Children Act?' Film based on an Ian McEwan novel. The story itself is excellent and Thompson also does a wonderful job portraying the protagonist.

I would honor all those who devote their time and effort to help and support others, whether on this forum or other online support groups. In particular, in addition to this forum, I want to thank those behind the Haven (on Discord) and the Survivors of Suicide group (in Second Life).

I'd like to honor the good men & women in the mental health field and in the drug & alcohol field who, through love, devote their lives to helping piece back together all the broken souls who come their way.

Thank you.

I would like to honor Jayme Closs. I do not know her personally; have never met her. But after following her story on the news, I am amazed by her courage and strength. I cannot imagine the horror she has suffered in recent months and I am so sorry that she is now without her parents. I want to wish her peace, safe love, and light for the future. I sincerely hope that empathetic professionals are helping her as she chooses.

I have probably honored her before here but I feel a second honor is warranted for MickeyCheeky. Credit where credit is due! To a remarkable, caring, sensitive, deep, and intelligent person. I honor you MickeyCheeky. The world is better with you here. May you find whatever your heart desires.
