I just don’t matter and I don’t have the courage or the drive to make myself matter. If it wasn’t for my parents I would have to live on the street. I don’t know how I ended up here but I feel like my life is at a dead end. I’m so completely worthless.

In all of the universe you are unique and have never nor will ever be duplicated. You are extremely valuable simply because you exist . Think about that for a minute. My grandmother had Alzheimer’s but do you think I ever thought she was worthless? Actually I thought she was the most important person in my life. I’ve been extremely and severely depressed as I am Bipolar 1 and I feel like I’m running in a pool of water up to my neck getting nowhere fast. I feel worthless as I am 100% disabled by the military and social security. I then think about my grandmother and her value to me simply that she existed and realize I am that for many others also. I value you because thanks to you I know I’m not alone thinking those thoughts so thanks and I hope you don’t suffer these thoughts long.

I'm so sorry you're hurting so much, annoyedgrunt84 I agree with what USMCBIPOLAR7 has already wisely said better than I ever could. You're not worthless. You're just struggling right now. It's the Depression talking. Don't listen to it! You have a lot of value simply because you were born. You exist. I'm sure you're helping many more people than you think, including those here on PC. We all love you here! Trust me when I say that. You're a valuable person and you'd be missed by any if you were gone. It's not your fault if you're struggling. It seems clear that you're trying your best to survive. But of course you can't just snap out of it. Don't worry. I'm sure you'll be able to get through this. Just try not to listen to those thoughts you're having. Try to find some distractions for yourseld. Do you have any hobbies? What do you like to do in your free time? Do you have a support system IRL? Any other friends or family members that you can reach out to? We're here for you if you need to talk about it. We all care about you here. We all love you here. Feel free to vent here as much as you need and want. You know we won't judge you here. I promise you that. You're a wonderful person. Just try to do your best to survive. That's all you can do after. You're a very strong person, I know that. You can do this! Just remember that it's the Depression talking and th you have actually a lot of value. I'm sure even just posting here has helped many more people that you can imagine, as this thread has already shown. Keep writing here if it helps. We'll always be here to listen to you. I promise you that. Stay strong, annoyedgrunt84. Stay safe and take care of yourself. You're awesome! You're strong! You're a warrior! Try to hang on. I'm so sorry, I know it's hard. Please don't give up. I hope things will get better soon for you. Is there anything we can do to help you? Please let us know. Remember that we're here for you if you need it. Feel free to PM me anytime. Let me know if I can do something to help you. I'm so sorry you have to deal with all of this

You are not worthless. As others have pointed out, you have value. You have the strength, intelligence and inner resources to have gotten to this point in life. No matter how hopeless things seem, there is always hope. Things change all the time, many times for the better so there's no reason things won't get better for you. I hope happier times are ahead for you.

I don't know exactly what to say except that you are not useless! Um maybe you can't do things atm like you have in the past but you're definitely not useless

I've felt that way before but I'm slowly getting better and you will too
