I am so glad that you and others are enjoying this thread Happy Crafter! We need beauty in our lives...it nourishes the spirit.

My next example may seem a bit strange. But I am more than just a bit strange so that's okay

Today I found beauty in doing chores. My depression took a sudden dive last night and this morning. I pushed through my day...all the while feeling dead inside....and then I came home and went on a cleaning frenzy! The chores really helped me. I think the combination of dopamine from the movement and a sense of accomplishment made me feel much better!

Thank you Happy Crafter. I love the pink moss. I don't play the piano but I wish I did! I've never learned to play anything. Musicians amaze me

To be honest, Silver, anyone who has an excellent skill amazes me. Let it be a guitarist or a physicist, anyone who's worked hard enough to be considered as 'excellent' never fails to amaze me.


Even I am amazed by fanvideos from YouTube, such as this video of the TV series Sherlock.

The uploader of the video also has an excellent taste in music. This remix combined with the theme of Sherlock never fails to amaze me. So much I daydream I have got outstanding observation and deduction skills like Sherlock Holmes.

Which, quite frankly, actually improved my observation, deduction and other skills which I consider belong to the category 'psychotherapy.' I am talking about being like a clinical psychologist. An excellent clinical psychologist needs outstanding conversation skills, aside from professional mannerism, ethics, observation and deduction skills, just like Sherlock's description.
