There's nothing to be ashamed of, mountainstream! It is certainly NOT your fault and I'd say it's good that you're getting tested so that you'll be able to get the help you need! Please remember that you're NOT stupid! In fact, people with learning disorders are actually REALLY SMART, but in other areas compared to other people! It doesn't mean that you're incapable of doing anything or or silly or stupid or weird or ANYTHING LIKE THAT! I PROMISE YOU ALL OF THAT BECAUSE IT IS TRUE! PLEASE REMEMBER ALL OF THAT AS MUCH AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN BECAUSE IT IS TRUE! Let us know how your appointment goes, ok? Remember that you HAVE VALUE AND WORTH and I'm SURE that you'll be able to show it to the world! WISH YOU GOOD LUCK! PLEASE LET US KNOW HOW THINGS ARE GOING FOR YOU AND PLEASE KEEP US UPDATED ON YOUR SITUATION AS MUCH AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN IF YOU WANT TO! WE DO CARE ABOUT YOU! THAT'S A PROMISE! WISH YOU THE BEST OF LUCK! Sending many hugs to you, mountainstream!

I've been put on antipsychotics, and I dream of making new discoveries in science. I don't think you should worry at all; we can overcome almost anything provided we work towards living a productive life. It does not end there, productive life. We can go so much more beyond it, we can live an extraordinary life.

You worry a lot, Mountain. I don't think you should. I won't be here for the rest of your life telling you to not worry and not be depressed, I will be here just momentarily, just enough to advise you something, over the internet. Remember that none of us will be here forever to encourage you. You have to have the courage and live your life with it. That's all I've been trying to say all this time.

You are perfect as you are mountainstream. It does not matter what labels the tests bring.

You will always be valued for your loving friendship here.

I don't like to look at them as learning difficulties, more that they need to learn in different ways. We all learn in different ways to a degree, those with difficulties just need that extra little bit of assistance.
