there are so many people out there irl that think they are so superior...
a touch of mental illness will help them understand a little..

I agree it’s terrible how some of us (many of us maybe) are treated

People do not like the truth, in this forest they think we should be cured after 6 sessions of CBT

And if we are not we are A Big Fat Failure

I was accused once of “Doctor bashing”. Whoever said that (nobody here) clearly had not been treated worse than the **** on someone’s shoes by a professional. (several of them I am now too scared to talk to any of them DO NO HARM and I am NOT “weak”. I dare any of those fuzzy bear bashers to live for a week in my paws - the pain is horrible and unrelenting (not about anyone on pc)

We are blamed for being allergic to the meds and for not wanting to take powerful steroids along with the psych meds

I think the heat is a trigger for me.

Maybe because I get hot flushes with panic...

My panic is a vicious cycle...

Body sensations = panic = more body sensations and so on....

If only I could stop it....

And for me as well. Difficult experience has taught me that I must regard higher temperatures as "destabilising" no matter how I feel in the moment.

Little turtle, I can relate. My husband, L, has been a physical wreck practically since birth. Bleeding ulcers at the age of 12, etc, etc. He also had open heart surgery a few years ago for mitral valve regurgitation + 2 bypasses, and treatment for prostate cancer that worked for 10 years and now is no longer working, as his PSA is going back up again. UGH.

Sometimes we sit in bed in the morning and marvel that we're still here. Both of us feel that whoever came up with this thing called life was one humdinger of a sadist.

All we know is, we sure as h--ll didn't design it for ourselves.

Hang in there, turtle.... A lot of people love you.
