Some people have a bad habit of hurting others. It's their preferred form of abuse, like smoking. They live a sad life.
And they have a skill to detect sensitive people like you. It hurts but it means you are a nice person.

I'm so sorry that happened to you, Fuzzy. Don't go back to that dumb board. Everyone loves you here.
I don't know what it is about some of these forums, but I think people being anonymous and therefore not ever accountable for their words and deeds has something to do with it. It's like, they know they can get away with being a jerk because no one will ever know who they are. So, they just behave like jerks. It's a shame and it's very immature. It is part of what I hate about social media. I had a similar thing happen on another board. That was it. Done. Haven't been back. Life's too short. Forget about those weasels. They aren't worth your time.

Flipping cheek It's a strange place sometimes, the internet. It allows nice people to meet and connect, and feel better  But it does leave one open to the odd random attack by people who lash out to make themselves feel better. I think their behaviour says a lot more about who they are than who you are dear Fuzzybear.
Perhaps they see how kind and supportive you are and lash out for some weird power thing Sending hugs and respect
