I ''stole'' this from someone else's post in another forum (I'm sure I could have found it if I searched.... it rings true about some ''difficult'' people who used to be in my life, and who said I was the ''bad'' person. Including shaming me nastily in public. Thanks a bunch

Maybe this might help someone here

Enjoy

(not about anyone on pc)

''Difficult'' people

Fuzzybear, do difficult people know they are being difficult?

Could you help move someone in a positive direction pointing out certain things they may not realize affect us?

Here, and beyond!

Though rare, I've consciously done this, both 1) limit and 2) sever my contact with certain people for reasons of psychological and even physical safety.

It was never easy.

I am sorry you encounter difficult people in your life. The best we can do is to separate ourselves completely or limit interaction whenever possible if complete “no contact” isn’t possible (work, family etc). “Grey rock” technique is a good one. I use it successfully when dealing with toxicity of others.

I hope you do not have to deal with these people anymore. Sending you hugs.
