This job searching is totally frustrating. My career has been a constant upward climb and now it seems like it's on the downside. You work hard and this is the reward? Some idiots can't listen and can't manage a company so you end up being downsized? It's hard to find the type of job I'm looking for and I'm running out of money. I feel like I'm being left behind in the dust despite all my efforts to find a new position. And believe me, I'm looking and applying and following up on every lead possible. This sucks. I'm single, self-supporting. I don't know what else to do. I don't know where to turn.....

NWTT, I don't have any advice. And in fact, I'm not even sure what to say, but jobs can build us up or tear us down. I'm so sorry this is happening to you.

 I am sorry you are going thru all that...Sometimes it is so hard and frustrating and you do not see the light at any tunnel you seem to have found yourself in. In my experience, I have been down a lot of dark tunnels with no light. One time I gave up and it was best way to go. I Let go and LET GOD. I don't mean to preach or put my religion on you and if you dun like this, you can delete. But that is my 2 cents worth. Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers!!! Melanie

Keep accenting the "seems like" and see if you can come up with some different plans so you can go sideways for a bit or change careers or do something you've always wanted to do but which wasn't possible before because of your career. Can you freelance for awhile or know anyone else being downsized too that you can team up with?
