Hey there,
Wanna share this with you (obviously):
Today was not a good day. I thought yesterday was due to a small break-through thanks to therapy.
My plans for today were foiled by my erratic sleeping habbits( working nights).
Hopes shattered, guilt rising because I missed an appointment I was hiding in bed.
Took me a few hours, my SO's coercing, a friend calling but then I thought of my break-through yesterday. I realized my break-through was me changing my thinking patterns and working on my perception instead of me actually doing something.
Therefore... I reprimanded myself for missing the appointment one last time and got up to at least use the last few hours of the day.
A small victory but👏 I am hellbent on savoring it.
Do you have small victories? Of any kind? Cooking a a meal, not listening to your inner snake? Let us savor it together 🥳
Hugs from:

Dear Train of Thought,

I am happy that you had a breakthrough thanks to your therapy. I have had those too. What you mentioned about small victories is also something I have experienced. I think they are underappreciated. I used to aim for 100% each day but now I am happy if I reach anything greater than zero. Each day is an opportunity for me to go beyond zero and if I do, I am content. I wish you only the best on your journey through life!

Sincerely yours, Yao Wen

Thank you @Yaowen .
You are right we don't need to reach 100%. I am learning that now, too. This is especially important if the goal is as unreachable as my standards are at times.
Hope we both can remember this every time we feel down again.
Wish you the best,too.
