I don't always know what has been said.

The panic speaks when I wake. It can continue all day.

There is a lot of fear.

I feel powerless, many have brought me down.

My body is ready for danger.

That number one attack happened in a significant social, professional, public setting. It makes sense to me it would have an important and possibly long-lasting impact.

Little Turtle, I don't know what to think. My experience is different. My most difficult moments, sometimes accompanied by intrusive memories, can occur at any time of day or night. I cannot discern a pattern. They are not confined to nighttime.

I think that...
maybe...
it is difficult...
to disentangle anxiety from depression.

With more confidence I can say in my case depression and anxiety are so mingled it is nearly impossible to consider them separately. I feel the distinction, but I do not live it.

It might be valuable for clinicians to consider whether or not a patient suffers from both and, if so, develop tailored protocols for such.

I think Rohag is right. the two are closely linked.

Anxiety/panic are my primary problem which brings on the depression.

I feel there is also a chicken and the egg problem to solve...

I spoke to an old friend recently (not anyone here). I would say they are an ok friend but not a real good friend (it's not a good feeling, if this is someone we thought was quite a good friend before.. )

I appreciate everything you share here little turtle
