I'm posting this in this forum because everyone I communicate with on PC reads here. What I want to say is, I'm fine and I'm so sorry I didn't let you all know I was going to be gone for a week.

I repeat, I'm fine and nothing bad happened.

I was producing a shoot in Las Vegas (coverage of the CES convention). I flew out Sunday, got back Thursday night, and have been playing catch up ever since. Unfortunately, lots of real life stuff was higher on the catch up list than PC but please know, I never stopped thinking about all of you.

I am so moved by the messages I received. There were PMs filled with heart felt concern and people letting me know I was missed. That means a lot but I can't apologize enough for having worried anyone. I honestly planned on logging in here during the trip but after shooting twelve plus hours a day, I usually fell right to sleep.

As for how I'm doing, I'm basically ok. Vegas takes a toll and I haven't been so tempted to drink in years, but I got through it. I tend to thrive when I have no choice but to work until I collapse. In situations like that, there is no self. There is only the job and the necessities of the moment. It's sort of a shine until you burn out kind of thing.

It's going to take me some time to catch up on the forums but I hope everyone is doing well and again, I can't believe people noticed I was gone. Thanks for that, it's good for the heart.

Wow, CES. Didn't you even get a tiny little peak at all those gadgets?

Seriously, I am so glad to know that you are ok, well at least surviving.

Take some time to recuperate. Just try not to be gone too long. Looking forward to seeing you post again.

This frog of little brain missed you. Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas
