A lack of respect by others is very painful and hurtful.
  I don't feel I have ever really had true respect from people IRL (no-one here at PC)(or I had raised them myself)   @Amyjay gave a good explanation in another thread. Quote:

I feel we're your coming from. Lack of respect can lead right up to remorse and then wonder why.
Trouble is then it turns into neglect if not sorrow. We must respect each other

Every time I show respect or offer a kind gesture... I hope I am putting a little something positive out there in the universe and that somehow it can keep going.... keep showing the respect and kindness so we can keep the momentum going.
