Just dropping a line to say Hello to everyone. Like most of you I fight depression on a regular basis and thought it would be nice to join a group on the internet. I'm 32 years old and recently divorced. I haven't seen my three daughters in 2 months so it goes without saying that I'm not feeling to happy as of late. I've hit depression head on for several years now and have had my ups, downs, and close calls but going through this on top of it all is even more challenging and is now taking it's toll. Joining this support group will help, if for no other reason than to simply get it off my chest once in a while.

We are here for you. This is a great place to express yourself and find people that care. Alot of us have been through the same things. We like to help others. Welcome to the room. I started coming in here about a month ago for support, it has been very helpful to me. Also try out chat, it is great when you are feeling alone and want company.

Take Care,
Leslie

Welcome to the forums dad...

I hope you will find this a great place to talk and share with others who understand and won't judge based on typical misconceptions about depression. It is good to have a safe place to talk about it, to be able to get the opinions of others, and to simply vent once in a while. I think this community is an exceptional place. I hope you will grow to love it like I do.

Welcome Dad23 - you've found a great group of people that genuinely care. I've been here over a year now and wouldn't go anywhere else.

Take care.

(((Dad))))
Is it ok that we call you dad? I am saddened to hear that you have not seen your daughters in awhile, but it is really nice to hear a man take such an interest in his children.
Welcome to the forums and I hope you can find some peace here.
