I tried to kill myself on friday night.I was talking with friends on a mental forum chat, and was taking some pills. That night feeling nothing, numb, noises in my head,I was staring at my PC.After some time I spitted the pills out and changed my mind. Now feeling embarrassed, exhausted.Tomorrow will be going to see a doc for the first time.I will be taking zoloft.Just wanted to share.

I am on meds now.Taking med only for 2 days made me a little relaxed. For the last few days I have been lying on the bed my eyes open just staring at the ceiling or eyes closed just lying there.Better than a few days ago,at least not trying to give harm to myself. But my biggest problem is that I hear loud noises in my head such as like visting a disco or being in a supermarket.I want to find peace.I hope so.Has anyone experienced the same noises, any advice?

ive heard that at times wildkitty..... i didnt see a doc, havent reported it...

it happens when i'm tired and stressed.. after a tough cathartic experience when i'm too tired to sleep.... lack of sleep, food, and high emotion can make that happen to me....

its always passed.. no harm done ...

might wanna let the doc know tho.... just in case...

I quit Zoloft....sexual side effects are horrible (for men at least)

I switched to Citalopram because it has a generic form......

Zoloft didn't effect me sexually and there is a generic form now. All that said, everyone needs to find the med right for them.
