I've removed her recent thread here, she seems to be slipping downward from her last post and I am hoping she seeks some help.
Aside from our "rules" here, I am worried that she is losing energy and hope she can spend that energy working toward a plan for recovery rather than being confused and frustrated trying to post here. I've sent her a PM and others can do so as well. I want to emphasize that we don't discourage people from posting when they feel that way, the rule is about posting saying that you feel that way, because that is the point where you should be telling someone else, not us. We are still here for support and advice during the process of seeking help. I guess I am only saying this because when we remove a thread because of this, somehow it feels like we are saying "don't talk about it, and don't come back until you feel better" as if the person is outcast or something, which is absolutely not the case. We want this place to continue to be a source of help. OK I'll get off my soapbox now... I've just had a long day. I am hoping T feels better though, that gives me something to look upward to. {{{{{{{{Taunuviel}}}}}}}}

I am fairly new to these forums, and removing the thread feels as if a door is being shut to me, also. I am concerned about how it may feel to Taonuviel. I do not mean this as any disrespect for what obviously was a thoughtfully considered decision, esp. when I have found all your posts to be filled with compassion and respct for all involved.

I'm fine with it. I tend to have off-judgement as to what's ok to say. This is the 3rd or 4th time...
![]() I might go to the hospital tomorrow. I don't know. I'm thinking about it.

Tao, "thinking about it" is a huge positive step. That's all we can ever do is take a step, and this is a step in the right direction. You will make the choices that are right for you but remember that it is YOU that is primary importance... not your classes, not your family, not your financial state... those things are important but without "you" there can't be a "your" anything. Time to take care of yourself so that everything else can truly be yours again.
Depression clouds and confuses that issue and often obscures it completely. That's why we are here to remind you and encourage you. We know what it is like to be under the surface, and what it is like to see the light again. A man is walking down the street, and falls into a hole. The hole is so deep, and the walls so slick, that he can't get out. He sees a doctor walking down the street, and calls out to him. "Hey doc, I've fallen in this hole- can you help me out?" The doctor writes him a prescription, throws it in the hole, and keeps walking. Then the man sees a priest walking down the street, and calls out, "Hey father, I've fallen in this hole, can you help me out?" The priest writes down a prayer on a piece of paper, throws it in the hole, and keeps walking. Then the man sees one of his good friends. He calls out, "Hey friend, I've fallen in this hole, can you help me out?" His friend comes over, and jumps in the hole with him. The man says, "What are you, crazy? Now we're both in the hole!" His friend says, "Yes, but I've been here before, and I know the way out."
