I feel good today. I think by the end of this week I will have had more good news than bad news. I hope I'm not counting my chickens before they cross the bridge (as Ricky Ricardo would say).

So this is what it feels like to feel good. I sort of have a vague memory of such a thing.

If everything goes well, lets have an anti-pity-party here. In fact lets start it right now. I've got soda and doughnuts.

It's wonderful to feel good, isn't it? I wish I had known about this place last fall and winter when I felt like crap, though. LOL

It took me 4 or 5 months post-hospital (which made it about July) before I could say I felt reasonably decent, if not wonderful, most days, but man, I do NOT take it for granted. Every day I wake up and hope it's another good day, but I'm better equipped to deal with it now if it's not.

Congrats Dex! I hope you put together a long, long string of good days!

BTW, I can contribute a Little Debbie oatmeal pie and a LD zebra cake that I picked up at Walgreens when I went to pick up my latest script. All I have at home to contribute to an anti-pity-party is cereal, sorry! :-)

It pays to be patient with this illness. For me it has been over a full year now. Probably 9 or 10 months until I felt as if there was some improvement.

Anyway cereal is good too! We can snack on 'em right out of the box I feel good today

No, its soda.

You may purchase pop for the party, but it transforms into soda when you bring it over the border. If there is any leftover, it transforms back to pop on your way home.

Since this is a cyber party, the transformation occurs directly to the internet protocol packets of data as they stream. The servers and hosts have software that provides this conversion "on the fly" so everyone can enjoy their favorite beverage without having to worry about it. Computers are grand.

I bet you all were wondering how that works, now you know.

Its all strictly semantic though... if you are here and you ask for pop, I'll give you what you want! "No Coke, Pepsi," I feel good today

I'll take the cheesecake but you have to share a piece of it here in honor of the party. That means you are getting one full private cheesecake plus a serving of the other. That's a lot of cheesecake! Are you sure you are up to the task??!!

Dave,

I agree, it's soda. Some good things have to come your way eventually, right? And you are one of the most deserving guys I know. You give of your time and yourself here so freely. And I know you're very loved here! So, about this party...I make a pretty mean peach cobbler if that'll work, but you have to give me directions. I'll start down I-580, then pick up I-5, then you have to lead me in from there. I don't trust Mapquest...And I have to stop and get MJ on the way I feel good today

Man, I hope things just keep getting better for you. keep us informed!

Greg

dex, I'm so glad to hear that you're feeling good...you deserve nothing but good days. I feel good today

And it's getting to be cooking-baking time again, so I'll have to whip up a batch or two for the party.

And Greg, I'll be waiting for my ride. I feel good today

If you can get to MJ's, I can get you here from there easily. I have a Star Wars friend in philly who might like to come too.

I already have a map and directions that I drew up some years ago. I'll send it to you before you leave I feel good today

That's great! I will eat an extra helping of my favorite vegetarian bean curd with black bean sauce tonight and think of you. I will even use chopsticks and try not to flip the bean curd roll across the restaurant. If that happens, and people see it, I will just say 'Dexter made me do it!'

Hey, when it comes to cheesecake, I'm always up for the task! LOL I've only had half of the first one so there's still room for an extra slice. I feel good today

I hope that cereal is Cheerios! I'm gonna need it to clean up all the colesterol from the cheesecake! I feel good today

Sorry, Sept. Morn, no Cheerios :-) -- Honey Bunches of Oats (2 varieties) or Grape-Nuts.

If it were up to me, I'd eat nothing but Capn Crunch, but what I have is what was on sale at the store, 3 for $5. (I think they have to price it that low to get anyone to buy it! LOL)

I personally would give body parts for a piece of cheesecake. Send it over! I feel good today
