I feel so rejected by everyone, why do I feel like this, maybe I am being rejected. I am so depressed, crying my eyes out, but no one comes to help me thru this. Not sure what I am to do anymore. At times I just want to escape from everything and everybody. Maybe things will get better I think, but they never do. Something or someone always pulls me down. I guess I am destined to be crap, to be nothing. I need someone to take it all away.

I know the feeling. It sucks. When I feel like that, I try to give myself space and let myself feel whatever's going on. I usually act like an *** to some people, but eventually I get over it and apologize. The feeling alone thing is really an illusion, but it's impossible to see that unless you're done with it.

Rejection hurt so much!

You are not crap. You are trying and the one who is trying worth much more then the one who is pulling others down.

(((Purple)))) so sorry to read how low you are feeling. But not everyone has rejected you...we here at PC haven't for sure!

Try and read over the list of 10 common cognitive distortions sticky posted in the Psychotherapy Forum. Once you learn to recognize when depression is telling you a lie, you can then work on countering it, and retrain your brain thinking...it will help you feel better in the long run. It's something you CAN do for yourself, regardless of others.

I'm sorry to hear you're feeling so bad - feeling rejected is so awful, but the rejection is often not real, or at least not as bad as we may think, so try to feel better.

REJECTION REACTIONS: I do experience times when I feel rejected by everyone, family, friends, and society in general. I speak for myself: I know that I have a chemical imbalance.
I have to make sure that I've eaten and taken my medication because not taking care of myself in those two ways can bring on what feels like a rejection attack from the world.
Sometimes, when others in my life may be less than supportive, such as having said something insensitive will start negative feelings in myself. In severe self- pain I will withdraw and take a nap with my dog. I find that a good dream will relieve the pain. Sometimes, I can even learn something from the dream.
I also like to get my mind off of me and play computer games, garden, and or walk my dog. When all else fails, I call my best friend and talk it out and get feed back from her. Once I talk it out with her I know that I will be ok!!!
I know that feelings change quickly. Yesterday morning I felt fine today I feel such and such. I believe: "That this too will pass....." . I do self-talk to help myself through my crap. The more I try to help myself, the better I am becoming at it.

<font color="purple"> </font> Peace be with you.
