If your meds and your T aren't working for you, it may be time for a change. I am sorry you are having a tough time, hopefully it will get better for you. When every day is a struggle

I agree with gimmeice. When i feel most desperate a lot of times making changes in things i dont think are working brings back that spark of hope. I probably change therapists and go on and off meds too much but it usually works for me. I hope you find that spark soon.

Of course if you get to where you can no longer control a destructive urge you need to go to the ER.

You say your T is no help. When did you last see T and how much did you share about your horrible feelings?
You haven't seen your Med's doc in over a month, can you call and ask for help? He might increase or change your med for you.

When every day is a struggle Depression is tough. Work on better thinking... work very hard at not allowing yourself a negative thought... stop as soon as you realize you've gone done that road again. If you find nothing else to think about, distract yourself, even if it's just with computer games... keep going... you'll make it. When every day is a struggle

please find new things to occupy your mind ... just try.

www.relationforum.com has a lovely set of relaxation videos that are beautiful and helpful.

It can help you clear your mind.

What kind of movies do you like? Where do you like to walk? What smells do you like in the kitchen? Where are your favorite pj's and bubble bath?

please try some things and just say 'NO' to your mind over and over - however long it takes - to these thoughts that keep injecting themselves into your consciousness ... say no - replace the thoughts with good ones, how pretty the sky is, how birds sing, how the seasons change, the foliage does too - look around and notice -

all is not lost, it's just beginning

i know depression is awful, i have it too

but i will not let it ruin my life, i won't, i promised myself, because enough crappy things have already happened to me, and now I say _'no more', no more danmit!

I promise myself and that means everything. nobody ever keeps promises anymore, and lest of all, to me, so I am changing that in my life.

You can too!

Promise yourself that you will take care of you, protect you, love you, and nourish your body and soul.

Whatever it takes. You are worth it.

Love
nightbird

I used to see a T that was paid on a sliding scale so don't be afraid to ask for a new one. you are more imp and deserve the correct help and the right meds. ask for a new doc or an appt that is soon. you are a valued person and good luck......pj56..xxoo
