Ever notice how the darkness in life appears immediately when we sit down to do "good"? Because immediately we'll find out that our best intentions to do "good"...well don't come off in a positive light. Usually we don't do "good" quite as well as we want to. And we also find out a curious thing that even when we are very sincere, unbidden thoughts arise, unbidden feelings. Things come out of nowhere that we had no intention of summoning.

Try not to be discouraged. You do your best and that's all anyone can ask. None of us will ever be perfect....just have to keep trying to do 'good' even though we know it is never good enough......because otherwise what will this world come to.

I guess we could ask ourselfs why we feel we need to "do" good? Perhaps just "being" good is enought?
