I'm stuck. I have things i need to do and can't get done. I can't seem to make myself do the things i need to do so i can get to the things I want to do.
i just sit around thinking about the things I should be doing and how I should get things done. I don't actually get anything done. I'm tired of forcing myself to do everything. And, I'm just tired. Any suggestions? |

Depression makes it really hard to be motivated to get stuff done. It's part of the disease, especially when everything just feels overwhelming.
One thing I found helped me was to break up the stuff I had to do up into really small tasks and write them down. So instead of saying I need to clean up the kitchen, I'd say today I need to wash the dishes (more manageable). And when I accomplished what I needed to, I always treated myself to a reward. --splitimage |

Try not to set yourself too many goals, otherwise you'll be driving yourself mad trying to work out what to do first and end up doing nothing.
Just set yourself one goal to start off with, maybe a chore that you know needs to be done, but something you know you will see results from. Once you have done the job you don't want to do, then reward yourself with something you really like. Hope this makes sense.
