Hi blah1,
Just thought I'd let you know that my mom calls you by name all the time...(she literally says "blah blah blah" a lot). what does tweaking mean?

Tweaking means making small adjustments in your medications in order to make them more effetive. It's not as drastic as changing medications, it's kind of like moving the dial on the radio "just so", so that the station comes in as clear as possible.

Hope this helps and good luck.

Actually... I understood 'tweaking' to mean when addicts (meth, I thought) were going through withdrawal and get all spastic and jumpy. You ever see Tweek on South Park? He goes through coffee tweaks.

Hi, LMo has it right in the street sense, in the dr's office the medical term forsaken for the street vernacular is titrating. It simply means adjusting up or down.

Gotta love SouthPark!!

Yeah tweaking comes from radio technology, futzing with controls to make something work the best it can...small adjustments and trials.
