Has anyone here been in a residential treatment program for depression only?

I spent 17 months in a residential treatment facility starting when I was 16 (I'm 25 now). I had myself "committed" and if given the chance to do it again, I would in a heartbeat. RTC's offer you a more protected living arrangement...mine was girls only (major drawback), but let's be real. I went to try and work on the issues that I was facing, not to find a suitor, lol. I was diagnosed with BPD and Major Depression @ 15 after having alcohol poisoning.

I'm currently looking @ RTCs in my area again because I now have painful memories of bing abused that I did not have @15. I've been hospitalized 6 times since the middle of Sept, and it's becoming too much. A RTC can offer me much of what a hospital can, so it makes sense to buy into Residential Living instead of hospital living.
