Never give up hope...... dont let depression lie and confuse you ........

write, physically write 10 positive thoughts per day ....

look in the mirror every day and say 'I AM WORTHWHILE'

no one can take away your pride and self worth unless you let them ......

love to all ......

Thanks for this!

Hey, I agree full heartly, also in mirror tell self that you love self. I have a real hard time loving me. Also every time you catch yourself thinking sad thoughts say something happy. Like I love swimming in a spring, I love flowers, I love Jesus, I have found that it really helps. Takecare all, Greg

I'm not saying it's easy .... it's extremely hard .... there are still days when I feel bad ..... but with good therapy, friends and by helping yourself it works ....

It took me so long to help myself .... we are all at different stages, I just wanted to post this to show it does and will get better, I don't expect everyone to feel great all of a sudden, just a positive post to say things do improve with time, I've been so low, so down, so stuck in that abyss ....

I dont know what happened to bring me to where I am now apart from listening to good advice, having wonderful friends here and IRL and a good therapist .....

I used to let advice wash over me, I take note and act on it now... I DO look in the mirror and tell myself I am worthwhile .....

I dont let people walk all over me .... I am learning boundaries.... I am learning compromise .....
