my dumps are below the bottom of the abyss
I have decorated my dumps and they are fairly comfortable no so comfortable that I stay any longer than a few days... Glade makes a fish-smelling air freshener that automatically sprays the air after a few days. it's just a place to rest take off the mask of happy! happy! joy! joy! take off the bra and bounce...or drag 'em along withdraw from the world I'm in no danger; my thoughts are of boy! do I need some quiet time Viola! the invention of my dumps everyone should have their own dumps, I believe they can be good for the soul tonight I shall watch something on the telly that has no redeeming social value (like there's anything on that fits that description) eat some chocolate and enjoy some legal coke rest and laugh and feel silly and not give a damn about anything... do y'all have a dumps? Cap

its cool you have a way to brighten the downs up a bit... sounds like you are accepting what is, and choosing to find something pleasant... way to go! we would be completely out of touch if we imagined there is nothing to bring us down... but we who never let it beat us down ((all of us here))) are not letting it win.. thanks for sharing your way with us! i hope it continues to work in your favor for a long time to come.... making an 'area' for ourselves is so important as we go thru all this life has to offer... we need a place to rebound and accept and re-energize... kudos!

Thanks y'all for understanding my "language."
A long time ago...in a far away place...I accepted that I needed a mental place to run to when life was building my character. I actually do have a dumps of sort in my house. The computer room complete with a nook that is mine. I don't share it with anyone. But I also need a mental retreat when I'm out of the house...when I'm getting stressed at the grocery store, Calgon doesn't take me away--I do. Shoot, y'all might be too young to remember that expression! 'Course I have gotten some strange looks whenever I stay in my mental dumps too long, my eyes are glazed, and I'm singing one of Leonard Cohen's songs
