I feel so overwhelmed with dysfunction. I want to fix it, but there is just to much broken, to much wrong. Where do I start. Do I try to fix my self esteem, or try stopping the sabotaging self talk. Therapy is way to expensive, and not particularily effective. I suppose the best thing is to just accept my lot in life, and try to feel comfortable with that, but can never seem to do that. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Lewis and Clark thought the same thing,,,in the first mile...

All journeys are difficult to begin...but are magnificent to be in...

Pick something and start..it will feed the next step...

bourne, feeling overwhelmed stinks
but as Lenny shared, taking things one at a time is forward movement and once you get started--it is wonderful to feel more in control and able to enjoy life more.

I hope you feel better soon,

Cap

How do you know therapy is not particularly effective? I hope you will reconsider that option. In the meantime there are many that understand here. Hope you can share more with us.
